Where the magic happens... my Michael Jackson "room"

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve taken the time to sit and write a blog post here. I honestly have missed writing. In a lot of ways I have found it to be a great release and a little bit easier to do than making Youtube videos so, I thought why not try and do both? My goal is to come back and at least to 2-3 small posts here a month in addition to what I post on my channel (here) so- I hope you guys will come and read!

I have gotten a ton of questions over the last few months about my MJ room. I call it my home studio since it’s where I do all of my filming, but it’s also a place that I go to unwind and relax. Michael Jackson has always been a great source of inspiration for me so, when I had the chance to decorate a room with some of my favorite MJ artwork- I thought, why not?

Here are some photos of the room:

One of the things I love most about the space is, I’ve taken the time out to display some of the items that have meant the most to me throughout the years.

The MOONWALKER poster is something I acquired while I was in high school and has been with me for almost 2 decades. I cherish it because it is one of the first purchases I made on eBay using my own money. The THRILLER clock was a gift from one of my uncle and I actually have another one hanging to the top left of the room (although you can’t see the clock details), that was a gift from another uncle. It’s really awesome when friends and family support my love for MJ so, I always try to display gifts whenever I can.

On the Gold and Black shelf (link to the shelf here) I have displayed Moonwalk, Michael’s autobiography, a bunch of my favorite VHS tapes and DVDs, a commemorative This is It Ticket, a Smooth Criminal FunkoPop toy, and an official Victory Tour Pepsi can that my boyfriend gave me.

In the photograph above you will also see a hand drawn portrait of Michael done by a fellow fan (YES- she drew young Michael in PENCIL!) and it is one of my most prized possessions. She is one of the most talented artists I know and when people come over and see that it’s actually drawn, instead of a print- they are blown away!

Of course, I also have the MJ calendar for 2019 (linked here) and a few other photos that make me happy.

I hope this gives you guys a little closer glimpse into my “home studio” and my little corner of inspiration. I will probably never do a video about this space because it’s pretty tiny and a lot less goes on here than it seems to be in the videos (haha!) If you have any questions, leave it in the comments below.

Talk to you guys next time! xo
